Hoven is an unconventional collaboration between Nisha and Justus van der Hoven, borne out of a shared love for design, imagination and storytelling.

 

The Hoven studio spans across a collection of transformative spaces, carved out of leftover corners and surfaces throughout their home in Johannesburg.

 

By combining their overlapping interests in the fields of architecture, design, illustration, fashion, film and exhibitions, the team have shaped a unique process in their approach to projects and imagining new possibilities within an African context.
