“Fieldwork” has become the philosophy that threads our practice together. At its core, fieldwork is about immersion – stepping outside of the studio, embedding oneself in a context, and gathering knowledge not just through observation, but through lived encounter.

In a profession that can often feel defined by fixed outcomes, fieldwork offers a more fluid way of seeing practice – as something that grows through context and collaboration, rather than control.

Our conversations in the field with artisans, filmmakers, fashion designers, farmers and communities constantly reshape our process. They remind us that architecture is not a solo act but a collective one.
